Founded to offer a more personal alternative to the big national booking platforms, we focus on great service, local knowledge and thoughtful details that make a stay feel special. From cosy cottages to smart city apartments, every home is handpicked and cared for by our local team. How do I book a stay?

You can book directly through our website for the best rates - simply fill in the search bar at the top with your desired location, dates and number of guests and search for your perfect stay. If you're having trouble, contact us and we will be happy to help!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major debit / credit cards as well as American Express.

What is your cancellation policy?

100% refund up to 30 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival

Do you take a deposit?

Yes, we do. As part of our booking process, all guests are required to complete a quick ID verification and choose between two options: Refundable security deposit: Typically £300, returned after your stay, with a £5 non-refundable admin fee Damage waiver: Typically £30, non-refundable, covering you for up to £300 of accidental damage during your stay The verification and payment process is simple and usually takes just a few minutes to complete once your booking is confirmed.

Who can I contact during my stay?

At Red Kite Stays we have a knowledgeable, friendly team on hand 24/7 to support you with any questions you may have during your stay. Just simply respond to your booking confirmation email with a message and one of the team will come back to you swiftly. We also have a Guest Support number you can call anytime for emergencies: 01608 310203.

What if I arrive late at night?

No problem! Our self-check-in system allows you to arrive at your convenience.

What areas do you cover?

The Cotswolds, Somerset, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Staffordshire & York.

Do you charge a pet fee?

For properties that welcome pets we charge an additional fee of £35 per pet. Please let us know if you are planning on bringing your pet(s) with you 🐾

Do I need to complete ID verification before my stay?

For many of our homes, ID verification is required as part of the booking process. It’s quick and straightforward, usually taking just a few minutes to complete. We use Persona, a trusted provider in this space, to handle verification securely. It isn’t required for every property.
